2024 FPF Seniors Police Academy – application period open

The Fredericton Police Force (FPF) is now accepting applications for the 2024 Seniors Police Academy. This innovative, free program, which began in 2017 as part of the Force’s Seniors Advisory Committee, focuses on providing seniors with an insider’s look at general and specialized police services here in Fredericton.  

Presentation topics will include:  

  • Fraud and crime prevention for seniors
  • Forensic crime scene processing
  • Crime data analysis
  • 911 Communications Centre operations
  • Other specialized police services

The 2024 Seniors Police Academy will be in session from Oct. 8 – Nov. 5, meeting on a weekly basis every Tuesday.

Enrollment is limited and those interested will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.

To be eligible, you must be:  

  • 55-years old or older  
  • Resident of the City of Fredericton
  • Interested in participating
