The City of Fredericton is committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, which are contributing to the climate crisis. Our Community Energy & Emissions Plan (CEEP) sets out our overall approach to climate action.
Personal vehicles emit over a quarter of the carbon pollution in Fredericton, so reducing emissions from cars and trucks will be a key ingredient of climate action. Alongside a shift to active and public transport, reducing emissions will require the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs).
The City is drafting an EV Strategy to make a plan for helping Frederictonians access electric mobility. Do you think you’ll adopt an EV, or maybe an e-bike? Where do we need charging infrastructure?
Click here to complete the survey to tell us your priorities, needs and insights on EVs. It will take between 5 and 10 minutes. It’s designed for everyone – not just people who have an EV and not just drivers.
Findings from this survey will be incorporated into the EV Strategy, and we will also post survey results on this platform.
