The Fredericton Police Force have arrested Jacob James Phillips, age 21 of Fredericton following an operation which took place in the Dunn’s Crossing Rd area of Fredericton, on Sunday evening.
Phillips was wanted on an outstanding warrant and was initially charged with the following:
- CC 244(2) - Discharging a firearm with intent
- CC 88 - Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- CC 268(1) - Aggravated assault
- CC 145(4)(a) - Breach of an undertaking
More charges may be laid as police continue to investigate.
The Fredericton Police Force would like to thank the public for their cooperation in avoiding the area while the operation was underway. Police remain on scene to investigate and would like to advise that there is no threat to public safety.
