The City of Fredericton Community Recognition Awards are meant to acknowledge those individuals who go above and beyond to help build and shape their community through volunteer efforts. This includes helping bolster the work of social groups and organizations that offer recreational, cultural, or charitable services within the City of Fredericton. These awards are open to all, to celebrate the outstanding contribution of our residents and allows us to acknowledge and recognizes individuals and organizations that have made a significant impact on our community.
Strong communities are built with the help of dedicated volunteer who offer their time, energy, skills for the benefit of others in so many ways. In Fredericton, we have a great history of volunteering and community involvement motivated by the spirit of generosity. Residents give their time every day by raising money for worthy causes, promoting cultural events, protecting the environment, assisting those in need, providing leadership roles, and fostering connections.
If you know of someone who has gone above and beyond to enhance the lives of others living in our community and is deserving of either of such an award, please nominate them by filling out the online form. The nomination deadline is May 3rd, 2024.
