
The City of Fredericton is looking for interested city residents to fill two vacancies on the Fredericton Public Library Board.
Board members are key advisors and advocates who help shape the future of the library. Responsibilities include representing community interests, promotion of library programs, reviewing budget documents, and understanding the value and importance of public library service.
The Board consists of nine members who are appointed for three-year terms, subject to possible reappointment. The meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every second month at 12:00 noon (February, April, June, September, October and December)
These are volunteer positions and, as such, no remuneration is provided.
The Board is committed to equitable representation and is looking for individuals with diverse or differing experiences and complementary skills within the community of Fredericton. Please highlight in your application if you feel you can contribute to our diversity goal.
