On May 8th, 2022, at 8:10 pm the Fredericton Police Force responded to a motor vehicle collision, on the Lincoln Road near the Experimental Farm, involving a motorcycle and vehicle. The driver of the motorcycle, a 59-year-old male, was taken to the hospital where he later died because of his injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured. The Lincoln Road was closed for several hours as the investigation took place. At this time the accident remains under investigation.
