Fredericton Police Recover Stolen Vehicle and Arrest Three Individuals

On September 5, 2024, the Fredericton Police issued an advisory requesting the public’s assistance in locating a stolen vehicle, a 2024 Nissan Kicks, after it had fled from police.

Later that day, members of the Force’s Integrated Enforcement Unit (IEU), with support from patrols, successfully recovered the stolen vehicle and arrested three individuals involved in the theft.

The individuals involved are charged with the following:

•    Male, age 25, of Fredericton:

 - S. 320.17 C.C - Flight from Police
 - S. 355(a) C.C - Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000

•    Female, age 27, of Fredericton:
 - (1) CDSA - Possession of a Schedule 1 substance
 - S. 355(a) C.C - Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000

•    Youth: 
 - S. 320.13(1) C.C - Flight from Police
 - S. 320.17 C.C - Dangerous Operation of Conveyance
 - S. 355(a)(i) C.C - Possession of Stolen Property (Vehicle)

The adult male was held in custody pending a future court date. The female was released with a future court appearance and the youth was returned to custody as he was unlawfully at large. 


These individuals are known to police, and some have been involved in several motor vehicle thefts in recent months.
