Man arrested, drugs and cash seized

Shortly after 11:15 p.m. on September 1, 2021, members of the Fredericton Police Street Crimes and Police Service Dog units arrested a male on the city’s northside in connection with an investigation into a stolen motorcycle.

The 46-year-old Fredericton man was arrested for possession of stolen property (the motorcycle). Police seized a quantity of suspected methamphetamine, cocaine, hydromorphone, as well as other drugs, cash and a weapon.

The approximate street value of the seized drugs is $11,053.00.

The male was released with conditions and is scheduled to appear in court again on October 26, 2021 on the following charges:

  • CDSA - possession of CDSA (schedule I) methamphetamine (crystal meth)
  • CDSA - possession of CDSA (schedule I) cocaine
  • CDSA - possession of CDSA (schedule I) hydromorphone
  • CDSA - possession of CDSA (schedule I) buprenorphine
  • Possession of a weapon dangerous to the public (bear spray)
  • Possession of property obtained by crime, over $5,000
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime
