Police investigating robbery with a weapon

Around 10:05 p.m. on Thursday, February 17, 2022, Fredericton Police responded to a business in 600-block of Union Street, for reports of a robbery with a weapon.

The suspect left the scene prior to police arrival with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Officers responded, provided containment, the area was searched.

At this time, police have cleared the immediate scene, but investigators continue to follow-up, and we are releasing the following details in efforts to identify the person responsible.

The suspect is a younger male and is approximately 5’4”. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black hoodie, grey pants, black shoes, black toque and gloves, and wearing a black mask.
