The Fredericton Police Force is looking to identify a person of interest in an ongoing investigation of mischief/property damage.
On Thursday, February 17 and Friday, February 18, 2022, the Fredericton Police received information that numerous properties in the uptown had their natural gas lines tampered with. To date, around 70 properties in Prospect Street, Bishop Drive and Hanwell Road areas had their gas lines turned off.
The natural gas utility was able to quickly restore service to those affected.
This activity is estimated to have happened on Thursday, February 17 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. at 11:00 a.m.
Police are looking to identify the male in the attached photos in relation to the ongoing investigation.
