Lock it or Lose it!

To date in 2022, Fredericton Police have received 105 reports of stolen vehicles, and 18 since July.

Help us help you. Please make sure you remove all valuables, lock your vehicles, keep the keys with you. This deters crimes of opportunities, reduces your risk, and saves the police valuable investigative time.

Some other tips to remember:

  • Park in well-lit places when you can
  • Never leave money in plain sight
  • Never leave valuables in your car
  • Put bags and other items in your trunk, out of sight.

Rest assured, our job continues to be keeping this community safe. Keep reporting crimes and suspicious behaviours to police. Thank you for doing your part to help

As always, anyone with information about car thefts are asked to contact the Fredericton Police Force at 506-460-2300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
