Police seek information on incident at Sgoolai Synagogue

On Sat.  Jan. 27,  2024, the Fredericton Police Force received a report from a concerned passerby regarding damage observed at the Sgoolai Synagogue situated in downtown Fredericton. 

Police promptly responded to the call for service and initiated an investigation into the matter.  Police are investigating to determine whether the damage resulted from targeted hostility or other circumstances and are pursuing all leads and information related to this incident. 

As of Jan. 30, 2024, Fredericton Police have not received any actionable leads and are renewing the call for assistance and are committed to identifying those responsible for this crime.
