Vancouver Police Sgt. Dayne Campbell cycled into Fredericton on Sunday, June 23, 2024, as part of his cross-country mission to increase awareness for pediatric cancer and raise funds for research.
FPF Chief Martin Gaudet cycled alongside Sgt. Campbell from Silverwood to the city core, a privilege for the Chief to fulfill as over 25 years ago he concluded a Cops for Cancer cycle around the New Brunswick perimeter and recalls the elation of being joined by fellow officers on the final portion of his journey.
FPF welcomed Sgt. Campbell Monday morning to celebrate his achievements and listen while he shared his story and dedication to the Cops for Cancer program.
FPF and RCMP officers joined Sgt. Campbell onroute to Saint John, New Brunswick. He is anticipating completing his journey at the end of this week when he reaches Halifax.
