The Fredericton Police Force is releasing further information on the tragic triple fatality that occurred on Douglas Avenue on May 05, 2024.
The accident reconstruction report has been completed, revealing that both speed and alcohol were significant factors in the collision. The vehicle’s speed at the time of the accident was determined to be between 138 km/hr and 174 km/hr. Unfortunately, none of the occupants were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident, however, the survivors are doing well.
The investigation continues and our detectives are diligently pursuing leads to conclusively identify the driver. No charges have been laid to date.
