Para transit
Fredericton offers a para transit service for people with disabilities. This service is available to registered clients only. Please review the links below for more information about applying for our service or call Service Fredericton at 506-460-2020.
Reservations for Para Transit are available by subscription (regular users, consistent times and destinations) and must be made a day before. One way fares are $3 cash. Customers can buy 10 ride tickets for $27.50. Attendants, where required, travel free of charge.
Para Transit operates Monday to Saturday between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. Service is provided through wheelchair lift equipped buses and is complemented by a contract with a local operator for those clients who are semi-ambulatory, or those who are able to travel by automobile.
