The annual Christmas Tree Recycling program runs from December 26, 2023 to January 20, 2024. Natural Christmas Trees are collected at designated disposal sites, chipped, and then recycled for compost at the City’s Municipal Soil Management Facility.
To take advantage of the program, residents must follow these guidelines:
- Remove all stands, tinsel, ornaments, screws, plastic, strings, nails, and wires from the tree prior to disposal.
- Only natural trees are accepted. Do NOT dispose of wreaths, artificial trees, or other decorations at a disposal site.
A full list of disposal sites will be made available this Fall 2024.
