What to Expect:

Traffic Impacts:

  • Noble Street from Ashfield to McEvoy will be closed to through traffic at times during construction. Expect temporary detours to accommodate the work.

Public Transit Impacts:

  • There will be minor impacts to transit services, particularly at the intersection of Ashfield and Noble.

Pedestrian Access:

  • No major pedestrian impacts or detours are expected at this time. 

What is Being Accomplished?

  • New water, sanitary, and storm lines are being installed along Noble Street to replace existing infrastructure that has reached the end of its lifespan. This work is essential for maintaining reliable services for residents and improving the overall street infrastructure.
  • Renewal of underground services will ensure that the city’s utility systems remain robust and capable of meeting future needs, reducing the risk of disruptions and system failures.

This project is partially funded through the IBA program. 

Are Any Trees Being Removed?

Some trees may need to be removed near civic addresses 135 & 147 to accommodate the installation of new service laterals.
