Community Inclusion Grant Application

Thank you for your interest in applying for the Community Inclusion Grant. The Community Inclusion Grant aims to support projects and initiatives that foster inclusivity, diversity, and accessibility within the community. We are seeking applications for innovative projects that promote the participation of marginalized groups, enhance community engagement, and create opportunities for social connection. A key priority of the grant is to reduce barriers for applicants and participants, ensuring that all community members, regardless of their background or circumstances, have equal access to opportunities and resources. Through this initiative, we hope to create a more inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone in our community. Funding is limited, and not all applications will be funded.

Applications will be evaluated upon receipt, and applicants can expect a response within 2-3 weeks. Additional information may be required to process applications.

Projects must serve communities within the City of Fredericton

Project Eligibility:

Must support activities that promote inclusion, diversity, and/or accessibility
Projects should be community-driven and demonstrate a positive impact
Can be new initiatives or ongoing projects

Ineligible Applicants or Activities:

Individuals (those applying as individuals, rather than as organizations or groups with a broader community focus)
Political campaigns
Projects that discriminate against certain groups
Profit-driven activities
