The Northside Youth Centre (NYC) is Atlantic Canada's largest indoor skate park. Open from late May to early September, the NYC takes over one ice surface at the Willie O’Ree Place and fills it with ramps, drop-ins, and rails. It is complete with a gaming area filled with foosball, video games, table tennis, and more!

Amenities: NYC offers ping pong tables, Wii Games, skateboard day camps, youth groups and many other youth centred activities. Skateboards are available for rental.

A perfect introduction to the joy of skateboarding or an opportunity for more experienced campers to hone their skills, NYC Day Camps are guided by skilled instructors and provide an inclusive learning environment. Challenge yourself on flat ground, street, and mini ramps and take part in a host of other activities every day.
