The Fredericton Police Force’s Integrated Enforcement Unit (IEU), with assistance from members of the Patrol Division, recently arrested a Fredericton-area man in connection with drug trafficking.
The individual was arrested following a traffic stop on the city’s Northside on March 11, 2026, after reports of drug trafficking in the greater Fredericton area.
Police seized approximately one kilogram of cocaine as a result of the arrest.
The male is facing the following offences:
• Possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000 — C.C.
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine) CDSA
The male was released pending a future court date of May 22, 2026. He cannot be identified until the charges are laid in court.
