Colin Ebbett

Councillor, Ward 3 (Nashwaaksis North)

Colin Ebbett is a longtime Fredericton resident and a dedicated member of his community. 

He is a graduate of the University of New Brunswick’s engineering program and holds a diploma in Technology Management and Entrepreneurship. 

Colin works full-time, specializing in infrastructure and asset management. He volunteers with the Transportation Association of Canada, contributing to a national forum that shares knowledge and best practices to address challenges related to transportation asset management. 

He is a strong advocate for supporting sport and recreation programming for youth across Fredericton to build confidence and support healthy, resilient, and connected lives.  

Counc. Ebbet was first elected to Fredericton City Council in 2026. Ebbett chairs the Municipal Finance & Corporate Administration Committee and serves on the Economic Prosperity and Growth Planning, Governance & Civic Engagement, and Public Safety committees, while also representing Council with the Association of Francophone Municipalities of New Brunswick, Business Fredericton North (alternate), and the Centre communautaire Sainte‑Anne.

Ebbett is committed to supporting a vibrant community and thriving local economy while maintaining responsible fiscal management and proactive infrastructure investment with continued investment in public safety.
