The Fredericton Police Force is investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision involving a pickup truck and a motorcycle that occurred on July 24, 2026.
At approximately 5:50 p.m., Fredericton Police Force patrol members responded to a collision at the intersection of Vanier Industrial Drive and Wilsey Road.
The driver of the pickup truck, a 21-year-old Fredericton man, was not injured. The motorcyclist, a 17-year-old Fredericton male, was transported to hospital, where he later died as a result of his injuries.
Members of the FPF's Major Crime, Forensic Identification Services, and members of the Kennebecasis Valley Regional Police Force Forensic Collision Accident Team (FCAT) attended the scene and assisted with the investigation.
The incident remains under investigation.
