Collection of #FrederictonStrong gifts

The outpouring of support from the community has been overwhelming. The flowers, cards, notes, gifts and signs left in front of the police station since August 10 have been comforting to all of us.

On Sunday at 10 a.m., members of the Fredericton Police Force will bring in all the items left at the police station, so that we are able to read and share the messages with all of our employees and also with the Costello and Burns families.

We want to thank everyone who took time to leave something, for those who offered their condolences, sent us messages, who shook our hands and gave us a pat on the back and all of you who have held us in your thoughts this past week. We have seen, but more importantly, felt the love, the caring and the understanding from our community. It means a lot.

We are all hurting, our community faced a tragedy, but together we will heal because Fredericton we are #FrederictonStrong.
