City Launches First Phase of Community Notifications and Alerts

Type(s)
City Hall

The City of Fredericton has partnered with Voyent Alert! to deliver notifications and alerts to residents related to daily programs and services, including any disruptions to those services, as well as details related to emergency situations.

In this first phase of these Fredericton Community Alerts, residents will have the option to receive notifications about the weekly recycling schedule, notice of field closures as well as our Downtown Snow Haul program. Residents can also sign up for emergency preparedness notifications from the City. New alert options will be added heading into summer.

Registration for this new service is free and simple. Residents will have the option to choose which alerts they would like to receive, as well as how they would like to receive them, whether it be through a mobile app, email, or text message.

To sign up today, residents can visit the Fredericton Alerts webpage on the City website here

Voyent Alert! was the successful vendor selected to provide as these notifications and alerts to the community about City services and facilities.
