Guardian Memorial River Lighting Project is a tribute to members of the Fredericton Police Force who have lost their lives in the line of duty. This installation will illuminate the third pier from the North Side of the old Carleton Street Bridge with blue light at night, serving as a public memorial and art installation.

What is Being Accomplished?
Memorial & Public Art Installation:
- Blue lighting will illuminate the stonework of the third pier, creating a visible and lasting tribute to fallen officers.
- Electrical cables will be directionally drilled under the river to power the installation.
- A weathering steel mounting structure will be installed on top of the pier for lighting equipment.
