On Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025, members of the Fredericton Police Force responded to a sudden death at a residence in downtown Fredericton.
A 42-year-old female was located deceased at the scene. An adult male was also found inside the residence and transported to hospital with undisclosed injuries.
At this stage, the identity of the deceased will not be released publicly.
Police are working closely with the New Brunswick Coroner’s Office to establish both the cause and circumstances of the death.

As the investigation is ongoing, no further details will be released at this time.
