Fredericton (N.B.) - The Fredericton Police Force has arrested an individual in connection with the January 16, 2026, incident of break and enter involving an assault on Fredericton’s north side.
Anthony Todd Paul Jr., 21, of Fredericton, was arrested and charged in court with one count of break enter while committing the offence of assault under sections 348(1)(b) and 348(1)(d) of the Criminal Code.
He was held in custody, with his next court appearance scheduled for Monday, January 19, 2026.
Police responded to a report of a break and enter involving an assault on an adult female in the early morning hours of Friday, January 16, 2026. Members of FPF Patrol and Major Crime units conducted a thorough investigation, which has since led to the arrest of the individual believed to be responsible for the incident.
