The City of Fredericton is reminding residents of the following hours of operation for Good Friday on Friday, April 3, 2026, and Easter Monday on Monday, April 6, 2026.
- City Hall and other administrative offices will be closed.
- Regular garbage and recycling collection will occur. Routine schedules may vary, and residents are asked to place containers curbside by 7 a.m.
- There will be no transit service on Friday, April 3, 2026, and on Sunday, April 5, 2026. Transit will operate as usual on Saturday, April 4, and will follow Holiday Service Hours (hourly service) on Monday, April 6, 2026.
- The Fredericton Senior Centre will be closed on Friday, April 3. The centre will reopen on Monday, April 6, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Program schedules may vary. Residents are encouraged to visit here for more details.
- The Nashwaaksis Field House will be closed on Friday, April 3 and open on Monday, April 6, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- City arenas and the Fredericton Indoor Pool will remain open during their usual operating hours. Extended public swim at the Fredericton Indoor Pool will take place on Friday, April 3, and Monday, April 6, from 2:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.
Public skate times at indoor rinks are as follows:
- Lady Beaverbrook Rink: 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- Willie O’Ree Place: 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
