The City of Fredericton is reminding residents of the following hours of operation for Family Day on Monday, Feb. 16, 2026.
- City Hall and other administrative offices will be closed.
- Regular garbage and recycling collection will occur on Monday, Feb. 16. Routine schedules may vary, and residents are asked to place containers curbside by 7 a.m.
- There will be no transit service.
- The Fredericton Senior Centre will be open during regular daytime hours.
- The Nashwaaksis Field House will be open from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- City arenas and the Fredericton Indoor Pool will remain open during their usual operating hours. The extended public swim at the Fredericton Indoor Pool will take place from 2:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.
- The Officers’ Square skate loan program will be available from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Public skate times at indoor rinks are as follows:
- Lady Beaverbrook Rink: 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
- York Arena: 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
- Grant-Harvey Centre: 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Willie O’Ree Place: 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
