The Fredericton Police Force (FPF) is pleased to announce that residents can now apply for Criminal Record Checks (CRC) entirely online. This updated process allows applicants to submit requests 24 hours a day without needing to physically attend the police station.
All aspects of the process, including verification of identification and fee payment, are handled electronically. If there are no concerns with the application or follow-up required, application results will be available within 15 business days. Completed CRCs will be emailed directly to applicants unless circumstances require an in-person pickup, in which case the applicant will be contacted by a member of the FPF.
This service is currently available to residents within the FPF’s jurisdiction, which will soon extend to residents in the recently annexed areas once the FPF assumes jurisdiction of those areas.
