Fredericton (N.B.) - On Monday, October 20, 2025, Fredericton Police Force (FPF) members responded to a report that human remains had been discovered in a wooded area near Two Nations Crossing on Fredericton’s north side. Police are investigating the death as a homicide.
The victim has been identified as 28-year-old Montana Solomon of Fredericton.
Police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and reassure the public there is no on-going concern for community safety as it is believed this was an isolated incident. No arrests have been made at this time. An autopsy is pending.
Our thoughts are with the victim’s family and community.
