The Fredericton Police Force continues its investigation related to FPF file 26-6745.
On Thursday, March 26, 2026, the remains of an adult female were discovered in a wooded area behind Two Nations Crossing on Fredericton’s north side, following a response to a fire in the area.
The deceased has been positively identified as Anne Victoria McKay Martin, age 50, of Fredericton, through the New Brunswick Coroner’s Service.
An autopsy has been completed. While there are no indications of foul play at this stage, the cause of death remains under investigation.
The Fredericton Police Force extends its condolences to the family and friends of Ms. McKay-Martin.
