The Garrison Play Area is an urban playground set to be built north of Officers’ Square and just south of Pointe-Sainte-Anne Boulevard, outside of the historic area.  

What to Expect:  

Traffic Impacts:  
No impacts or detours are expected for residents and commuters.  

Public Transit Impacts:  
Public transit will not be affected by this project.  

Pedestrian Impacts :  
No pedestrian impacts are anticipated.  

The Benefits:  

Once completed, this project will provide a beautiful urban play area in the heart of the Garrison District, enhancing recreational opportunities for residents and visitors.  

Additional Upgrades:  

Other planned improvements in the area include a water feature, pétanque courts, the future Scholars Walk, and additional projects outlined in the Officers’ Square and Garrison Master Plan.  

Flood Protection:  

The play area will be flood-resilient, constructed above 8 meters in elevation.
