The Fredericton Police Force is now accepting applications for the 2026 Seniors Police Academy.
This free program offers Fredericton seniors an inside look at general and specialized police services. Topics may include fraud and crime prevention, forensic identification, crime data analysis, 911 communications and other specialized police services.
The academy will run from Oct. 1 to 29, with sessions taking place from 9 a.m. to noon on:
• Thursday, Oct. 1
• Thursday, Oct. 8
• Thursday, Oct. 22
• Thursday, Oct. 29
The program is open to Fredericton residents aged 55 and older. Space is limited to 20 participants, and applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
