The City of Fredericton is reminding residents of the following hours of operation for New Brunswick Day on Monday, August 3, 2026.
- City Hall and other administrative offices will be closed.
- Regular garbage and recycling collection will occur. Routine schedules may vary, and residents are asked to place containers curbside by 7 a.m.
- There will be no transit service on Monday, August 3.
- The Beek Court Municipal Soil Management Facility is open on Monday, August 3.
- The Visitor Information Centre at 494 Queen Street will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- The Fredericton Senior Centre will be closed.
- The Nashwaaksis Field House and the Northside Youth Centre will be closed.
- The Fredericton Indoor Pool will remain open during their usual operating hours. Extended public swim at the Fredericton Indoor Pool will take place from 2:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.
- Killarney Lake Beach Supervision, Marysville Outdoor Pool, Henry Park Outdoor Pool, Royal Road Outdoor Pool, and Queen Square Outdoor Pool are all open during regular operating hours.
- Rinks are open during regular summer hours.
- Walking tracks are open from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- The Zig Zag and Afternoon Adventure Crew programs will not be operating.
