From time to time Fredericton experiences a closure of the Westmorland Street Bridge or the Princess Margaret Bridge. These closures are sometimes due to planned events, or a motor vehicle accident, or other unplanned incident. When the closure is expected to be long enough to cause traffic issues, particularly during rush hours, the City of Fredericton will endeavor to communicate useful information about the closure. Follow the City of Fredericton’s social media channels for the latest information, including the Fredericton Police Force and the Fredericton Fire Department.
