Jason LeJeune has lived in Fredericton for over thirty years. He is a graduate of UNB with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He is a proud owner, operator, and investor of local restaurants and beverage companies.
This is Coun. Lejeune’s second term on Fredericton City Council, he was first elected in 2021 and was reelected in 2026. During his first term he was the chair of the City’s Economic Prosperity and Growth Planning committee.
Presently, LeJeune chairs the Mobility Committee and serves on the Economic Prosperity and Growth Planning (Vice Chair), Governance & Civic Engagement, Livable Community, Municipal Finance & Corporate Administration, and Public Safety committees, and represents Council on the Fredericton Affordable Housing Advisory Committee, Downtown Fredericton Inc., and the Mayor’s Working Committee on Community/Post‑Secondary Relations.
He has served on the boards of Downtown Fredericton Inc., the Fredericton Chamber of Commerce, Fredericton Convention Centre, and Fredericton Shelters. He was also a proud member of committees for many other local organizations. Jason has recently grown an interest in volunteering in the non-profit sector to help out the most vulnerable residents in our community.
He lives in Ward 11 with his wife, Tina and their dog and two cats. They have two children who are currently pursuing their dreams elsewhere.
