Josh Hambrook has called the Southwood-Lincoln area home for the past twenty years.
Josh has over 25 years of experience working with policy, legislation, and contracts. His career has spanned the New Brunswick public service, including roles with Finance and Treasury Board and the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. He began his working life as a construction labourer and union organizer as well as work in industrial logistics. Hambrook is also an entrepreneur and founded Fredericton-based technology company.
He is a strong believer in transparency, accountable deliberation, and ethical standards, and he looks forward to bringing that same approach to serving the residents of Southwood-Lincoln.
Counc. Hambrook was first elected to Fredericton City Council in 2026.
Josh lives in Ward 7 with his family, he is a proud baseball “Bonus Dad” and a strong believer in the idea that better questions lead to better decisions.
