
Ruth Breen is a long-time resident of the Fredericton area. She is a graduate of the University of New Brunswick having received a B.A and B.Ed.
Coun. Breen has volunteered in several avenues to serve our community and is committed to ensure all residents feel included and at home here in Fredericton.
She is a retired Postal Worker and was active with the Canadian Union of Postal Workers. Her work during that time focused on adult education in the labor and social justice community as well as international solidarity initiatives.
Coun. Breen is currently chair of Livable Community Committee and serves as the Council rep on the Social Inclusion Committee and Community Post Secondary Relations Committee.
Coun. Breen currently lives on Montgomery Street, with her partner, George. She is a mother of two adult daughters and a grandmother.
