City Hall
The City of Fredericton reminds the public of the following hours of operation and other information related to Remembrance Day.
- City Hall and other administrative offices will be closed on Monday, November 11, 2024.
- There will be no transit service on Monday, November 11.
- Regular garbage and recycling collection will occur Monday, November 11. Routine schedules may not occur, so please set out containers by 7 am.
- Please note that an additional week has been added to the Yard Waste Pickup. It will begin Monday, November 18 and run until Friday, November 22.
- The City’s Arenas and Pools will follow their regular hours on Monday, November 11.
- The Fieldhouse will be closed on Monday, November 11.
The Poppy Flag will fly at City Hall until Remembrance Day to commemorate Veterans’ Week. Flags at City Hall will be lowered over the Remembrance Day Weekend in honour of all Canadians who have served their country in time of war.
