The City of Fredericton introduced Sunday Service on June 23, 2024.
- Sunday Service will run hourly between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
- It will include a total of 7 routes.
- Route 200 Crosstown will provide connectivity between the north side and the south side of the City on Sunday.

Transfer Points
Sunday Transit will include four main transfer points: Maple and St. Mary’s streets, Kings Place, the Regent Mall, and the Corbett Centre.
Maple Street Transfer Location - southbound departs at :45 and northbound departs at :08

- 120 Brookside/Marysville
Kings Place Transfer Location - southbound departs at :55 and northbound departs at :00

- 160 Skyline/Southwood Park

Regent Mall Transfer Location - northbound departs at :25

On-street transfers are also permitted at any point throughout the city where two routes converge or intersect.
All transfer locations are for the purpose of continuation of the customer’s trip. Transfers are not permitted to be used for the purposes of a return trip.
A new transfer point with a crosswalk will be installed on Maple Street, between Ring Road and St. Mary’s Street, so customers can transfer safely onto their next bus. This will be installed in the coming months.

What happens next?
As Fredericton continues to grow and more people choose public transportation, we will monitor ridership levels across the city on Sundays to ensure service is provided where it is needed most. In the future, Fredericton Transit will rely on customer feedback pertaining to Sunday Transit to improve this service.
