Make a splash this summer with Aqua Zumba! Cool off, move to the music, and enjoy a fun, low-impact workout in the water. With one class each week at every outdoor pool, there are plenty of chances to join in, meet new people, and refresh your routine all summer long. Perfect for adults of all ages, Aqua Zumba is a high-energy way to stay active while beating the heat!
Aqua Zumba and other aquatic exercises are also available at the Fredericton Indoor Pool.
Stay cool while learning how to swim for FREE at the outdoor pools! Each session runs for two weeks in the morning and is grouped by age, no matter the swimmer’s level. On the first day, instructors test each child’s skills and place them in the group that best fits their needs, helping everyone build confidence, stay safe, and have fun in the pool.
Cool off the classic way: having a large bucket of water dumped over your head at the Wilmot Splash Pad! With small to large water features, there’s just enough splashing for all ages to enjoy. During hot and sticky afternoons, the Wilmot Splash Pad is the best place to be. While you’re there, enjoy everything Wilmot Park has to offer, including a playground, outdoor sport courts, the walking trails or the edible food forest!
When mother nature turns up the temperature dial it’s time to head to the water. Fredericton is home to beautiful paddling locations such as the Wolastoq (Saint John River), the Nashwaak River, and Killarney Lake!
