Backyard History Talk: Fredericton Through the Letters of Juliana Horatia Ewing

to

Famous English author Juliana Horatia Ewing moved to Fredericton, and the night she arrived City Hall burned to the ground. During her three years living in the city she wrote hundreds of letters home to her little sister Dottie, which offer a raw first person — and frequently hilarious — account of her adventures, which include everything from her learning to snowshoe and canoe, to witnessing the city’s first murder in three decades. Andrew MacLean of Backyard History, and voice actors and actresses from the Backyard History podcast will be giving a free talk about Juliana Horatia Ewing on Thursday, October 17th at 7 pm at the Tilley Hall, UNB
