The Fredericton Police Force process for persons needing a Local Police Record Check for purposes of applying for Record Suspension (Pardon) is now online.
This system allows you to apply for a police record check 24 hours a day without having to attend our facility. All aspects of the process - including verification of your identification, and fee payment - are handled electronically.
If there are no concerns or follow-up required, your record check documents will be returned to you.
This information is relevant only to persons currently in the process of applying to the Parole Board of Canada for a Record Suspension (Pardon).
As part of the application process to the Parole Board of Canada for a Record Suspension (Pardon), a person is required to obtain a specialized record check (Local Police Record Check) from every police service in whose jurisdiction they have resided in the past five (5) years.
This must be done using the official 'Local Police Records Check Form' from the Record Suspension Application Guide (Step 4) available here.
